Dog Door Installation in Greeley

Serving Greeley, Evans, and Weld County — from UNC-area rentals to family homes in Kelly Farm and Cottonwood, and acreage properties east of town.

Pet-door work across Greeley and Weld County

Greeley is a mix — older student housing near UNC, established residential in Cottonwood, newer builds spreading west, and rural acreage in every direction. We install across all of it. Weld County is also where we do a lot of our larger-breed installs: bird dogs, ranch dogs, and working shepherds who need an XL door and a frame that can take real use.

Neighborhoods we work in

UNC / University District

Older ranches, bungalows, and rentals around the University of Northern Colorado. Wood entry doors, tight side yards.

West Greeley

The bulk of newer construction — two-story production homes with dual-pane patio doors, standard in-glass swaps.

Kelly Farm

Family neighborhood with wide sliding glass doors opening to fenced backyards. Common request: a door sized for a large working breed.

Cottonwood

Established residential with a mix of ranches and updated homes. Typical entry-door and slider work.

Promontory & St. Michaels

Newer subdivisions south and west. HOA-friendly in-glass is the default here.

Weld County acreage

Rural properties out toward Eaton, Kersey, and Ault — no extra travel charge, and we bring the right doors for larger breeds.

Weld County weather realities

Greeley sits far enough east that the foothills-driven chinook winds ease off, but the plains open up a different problem: sustained straight-line winds and summer thunderstorms with hard rain and hail. On acreage properties we also see more dust and grit in the flap seal than we do in town. That means we usually spec a durable dual-flap unit with a replaceable weather brush, so five years in you can freshen the seal without replacing the whole door.

Greeley FAQ

Do you install for large breeds and working dogs?

A lot of our Weld County work is for Labs, shepherds, and bird dogs. We spec XL-size doors with heavier-duty frames so a 90-pound dog isn't crashing through a residential-duty flap ten times a day.

Will you drive out to acreage properties in the county?

Yes — Eaton, Kersey, Ault, Windsor, and the rest of Weld County are all covered. Rural installs get the same free estimate and firm quote as in-town, with no extra travel charge inside our normal service area.

Can you install a pet door that stays locked overnight?

Two options. Every professional pet door we install has a slide-in lockout panel you can insert manually. If you'd rather control it from your phone — schedule daylight-only access, lock it when you leave — a Wi-Fi–controlled door drops into the same opening.
